It looks like the New York Jets will have a new starting tight end, as they have reportedly agreed on a 3-year, $24M deal with TE C.J. Uzomah, formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals. Uzomah, 29, has spent his entire 7-year career with the Bengals. He started in 16 games for the Bengals last season, catching 49 passes for 493 yards, 5 TDs. He also had a similar year in 2018 when he caught 43 passes for 439 yards, 3 TDs. The 6'6" tight end overcame an MCL sprain in the AFC championship game to play in Super Bowl LVI. He caught 13 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals’ first two playoff games.

TE Ryan Griffin was the Gang Green's best tight end last season. He had 27 receptions for 261 yards, 2 TDs.
