ESPN.com reports that the New York Jets signed DT Alan Harper to a 3-year contract worth $1,189,000. The deal includes a $284,000 signing bonus. Harper's base salaries will be as follows: $225,000 (2002), $300,000 (2003), $380,000(2004).
