RB Cedric Houston has informed the Jets that he wants to move on with the rest of his life and is not expected to return to the team. Houston spent 2 seasons with the Jets, starting in 5 games and gaining 676 yards on 194 carries. He scored 7 touchdowns.
Following Houston's departure, the Gang Green signed RB Tony Fisher who used to play for the Rams and Packers. He's a 6-year veteran and primarily a 3rd down back.
Also, the Jets also signed LB Mark Zalewski and moved Andre Wadsworth to outside linebacker.
