Jets Begin Season In Top 10 Of Power Rankings

The New York Jets begin the 2011 NFL season pretty much where they finished in 2010 - in top 10 of power rankings of all three major sports websites. ESPN rates them the highest at #7, FOX Sports has the Gang Green at #9, while CBS Sports, as they do most of the time, rates them the lowest at #10.

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN:  Rex Ryan and the Jets face a tough ride back to the AFC title game. It's tough to do it three straight years.

FOX Sports: The Jets have all the elements in place to live up to Rex Ryan's Super Bowl prediction, but Mark Sanchez is the last piece of the puzzle. He will need to play like a top 10 QB to lead them to a championship.

CBS Sports: Are they really improved? Where? I worry about whether the passing game can take a step forward. Where is the pass rusher?
