Jets stay put in power rankings

Admin - October 24, 2012

The loss against the New England Patriots seemed to have barely affected the Jets' position in power rankings. CBS Sports has the Gang Green at #23, just like last week. ESPN, ProFootballTalk and ProFootballWeekly all moved Rex Ryan's team one place down, while FOX Sports countered with a 3-point gain (from #18 to #15).

Here's what all these websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN: The Jets usually bounce back from tough games. They have an impressive 3-1 record following overtime games under Rex Ryan.

FOX Sports: Mark Sanchez was one dropped pass away from potentially upsetting the New England Patriots. Instead, he loses the game with a fumble in overtime. Such is the life of an NFL quarterback, especially one named Sanchez.

CBS Sports: It would be hard to blame Mark Sanchez for the loss to the Patriots. Somehow, they will.

ProFootballTalk: For those who think this team is a legitimate postseason contender, the glass is half fool.

ProFootballWeekly: Getting TE Keller back in form a huge help to the offense.
